There is no universal timeframe. The duration depends on the type of property, its location, its condition, its price and market conditions. An accurate valuation and a suitable marketing strategy are the two factors that most influence the selling time. Your advisor will give you a realistic projection after the valuation.
To sell a property in Paris, you must provide a Technical Diagnostics File (DDT) including in particular: EPC, asbestos, lead, electricity, gas, termites, ERP, Carrez-law measurement for co-owned properties, and the condominium documents where applicable. Your agency coordinates these diagnostics with certified providers.
Fees are only due if the sale actually goes through. They are collected when the authentic deed is signed before the notary and are stated in that deed. No fees are charged to you until the sale is concluded.
